The exhibition “Literary Essences” is a partnership between Delta Livraria and the renowned photographer from Rio Grande do Sul Néia Moresco. There are 18 local personalities (from Passo Fundo, RS) with important contributions to the literature of the region. Néia’s portraits show these relevant figures of culture and at the same time celebrate the value and love for local literature. Néia told how this experience was, which due to the pandemic ended up being postponed in person, but which is now exposed in great style with printed photos of the sensitive and outstanding work of the photographer.

Neia Moresco tells about the initiative of the exhibition

"This work, conceived in 2019, aimed to value all those involved in literal art, bringing together all the senses and feelings linked to this process."

To carry out the photographic record of these stories, feeling the work, the holistic involvement of those who express themselves and are guided by what they write and read, was a magnificent experience. With simple and strong images, the cultural legacy of these participants, the universe of words felt and experienced needed to be translated into image, and from this movement, results the exhibition that is here today.

It is with great emotion that I took part in the elaboration and development of this idea and it is with even more joy that today we present in this space, the result that, despite time, remains innovative, because reading and writing that move the feeling and knowledge of those who get involved with it, never passes".

The fact is that the photographer created a true brand in photography and an exhibition is one more way to value this legacy and reinforce her brand value and her photographic work. The highlight given by both the bookstore and the shopping mall prove it. And most importantly: Néia does this by celebrating personalities and culture from Rio Grande do Sul in high style. Or as the disclosure made in the partnership says: A celebration of love for books. The exhibition will be open to the public from May 23 to June 4 at Delta Livraria do Passo Fundo Shopping,, with free admission.
