NFTs are revolutionizing the world of art and creativity, and one of the artists who is embracing this new trend is Fausto Junior. He is a versatile visual artist with a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBa). He has a long and successful career in video production, animation and design, and now he is exploring the possibilities of NFT photography in the NFoTo Collection. In this article, we will learn more about his background, his works and his vision for the future of NFT art.

Fauto told about the creation of these NFT photos from the NFoTo Collection. "For about 20 years I lived in an apartment in the neighborhood of Vitória (Salvador, Bahia, Brazil), with a beautiful view of the Baía de Todos os Santos (All Saints Bay).

Fausto Junior is a a versatile visual artist with a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBa).


VIDEO He has produced over 500 video pieces for various clients, ranging from educational and documentary films to institutional and promotional videos. Some of his clients include Petrobrás, Faculty of Architecture (UFBa), Faculty of Administration (UFBa), Emtursa, Braskem, Sebrae, Baneb, Ministry of Finance, ESAF, Integrated Colleges of Bahia (FIB), Hélio Rocha College, IG Portal, TIM Operator, Tribos Jovens Institute (ITJ), Suryalaya RH, and more.


He also served as the Communication Director of the Bahia Association of Cinema and Video - ABCV / ABD-Ba from 2005 to 2011.


ANIMATION He is passionate about creating original animations that have been featured and awarded in several national and international festivals, such as Anima Mundi Web Cell Phone, Tiradentes Film Festival (MG), Guarnicê Festival (MA), Bahia Film Journey, Cine-PE, CinePort, Up to 3’ Show - Toronto (Canada), Monstra Lisbon Animation Festival (Portugal), Uruguay Animation Festival, FestCine Amazônia, Múmia Animation Festival, 5 Minutes Festival (BA), São Carlos Video Festival (SP), among others. Some of his works are Concerto Nº 1 for Cell Phone and Orchestra, Z0oV1rus, Ecological Trail, Dreadlokos, Homem Doim.

He has also coordinated and participated in video and animation workshops for Coopercom - Communication and Marketing Cooperative, Quinzena Animada, Arraial CineFest, Lanterninha Project, Quartas Baianas no Interior.


He was invited by DIMAS - Audiovisual Directorate of the State of Bahia to curate the exhibition Clássicos Baianos da Animação, held in 2010, during Animaí! IV Bahian Animation Meeting.


He also developed research and realization of the Animated Catalogue, a comprehensive overview of authorial animations produced in Bahia from 1960 to 2010.

He was the proponent and art director of the pilot program for TV Quadro a Quadro, selected in the Support Notice for the Production of Pilot Programs for TV in 2008.

DESIGN He has designed websites for various projects, such as the film Jardim das Folhas Sagradas, directed by Pola Ribeiro, and the blog Caderno de Cinema, coordinated by filmmaker Jorge Alfredo.

He was selected for the Salon of the 4th Liceu de Design Award - 2002 with the project Quiosque 1 - self-service terminal for internet access.

He co-authored the TouristNet Project in 1999, where he developed websites, graphic visual identity, multimedia systems for self-service kiosks and for intranet and internet networks.
